This year, Rotary and Rotaract Clubs around the world are charged to "Make Dreams Real". In doing so, RI President DK Lee challenges us to battle the scourge of child mortality around the world by taking on projects which battle hunger, provide clean water and eradicate disease. Blessed as we are to live in the Cayman Islands which boasts a per capita income higher than most of the wealthiest nations around the world, our people still suffer from hunger and malnutrition. Meals on Wheels is a huge charitable effort, supported by the Rotary Clubs of Grand Cayman and the Rotaract Club of Grand Cayman to provide hot meals to those who need it most.

The meals are prepared in the MOW chefs and we collect and then deliver them. Most routes are in central George Town and can be completed in 30 minutes during a lunch hour, giving business persons a real opportunity to get out in the community during the work day. If you live in Cayman and would like more information on this effort, please get in touch with any of the board members listed on this webpage. A major community service project goal of the Rotaract Club of Grand Cayman is to have each member participate in this ongoing project this Rotaract year.
