Info you need to know: What do YOU need to bring with you when registering? -For those Caymanians who were born in the Islands and have a parent or grandparent that is Caymanian: A birth certificate of the applicant and that of a parent or grandparent will have to accompany the requisite Form 4. -For others: A birth certificate, along with Caymanian status and Naturalisation certificates must accompany the registration form. A recent amendment to the Cayman Islands Constitution now allows a person to be registered as an elector if he or she will have attained the age of 18 on or before polling day at an election and is otherwise qualified on the day of the issue of a writ of election by the Governor. ALREADY REGISTERED but have changed your street address, moved to another electoral district or changed your name or occupation? This is an opportune time to complete a Form 13 and get your record up to date and correct. Form 13 may be collected from any post office, the Elections Office and on the website at www.electionsoffice.ky (For clarity it must be understood that voters cannot change electoral districts unless they have physically moved to that district) ALREADY REGISTERED but do not yet have your Elector registration card? These are continuing to be issued until Saturday, 9 May. The Elections Office will be establishing stations in various districts in April. These stations will be operational for approximately two weeks and issuance will resume thereafter at all major supermarkets and some business establishments until May 9th. Questions??
