Our Volunteer Day was awesome and we will be planning another soon, so stay tuned!

For Project ECO we at the Rotaract Club of Grand Cayman have chosen to assist in the preservation of wildlife, in particular the wildlife indigenous to the Cayman Islands. Doing our part to help conserve the island’s wildlife resonated with many of our members, so continuing to do just that for the Cayman Parrot Sanctuary was the right choice for our ECO district project. This enables us to lend a helping hand, provide exposure to those on island that weren’t aware of the sanctuary, and get the community more involved in its sustainability. One big part of why we choose this project is because our membership has noticed that some of the wildlife conservations/sanctuaries seem to go understaffed and don’t receive the level of exposure they desire. We would like to promote more involvement in the preservation of the island's wildlife from those who currently live on island since a majority of the people who already do come from around the world to do so. Everyone doing their part can make an even bigger difference.
