This Halloween, members of the Rotaract Club of Grand Cayman treated the children of the Nadine Andreas' Foster Home to an evening of fun and candy- lots and lots of candy!

The Rotaract Club of Grand Cayman is a service club for young men and women ages 18 to 30, sponsored by Rotary Sunrise. These promising young professionals engage in various activities throughout their community and were excited about sharing this special treat with these boys and girls. The parents and staff of the Home welcomed the Rotaractors with opened arms and played out their "tricky" surprise visit to deliver "treats" with grateful anticipation, but none benefited more from this experience than the Rotaractors themselves. Handing out bags filled with toys and candy proved rewarding for the members, who warmly received the bright smiles and big hugs from the young residents, aged 4 to 17.

The Nadine Andreas Foster Home aims to provide "family type" residential care for children placed by the Department of Children & Family Services. To become a volunteer or contribute donations, contact the NCVO on 949 2124.

The Rotaract Club of Grand Cayman meets on Thursday mornings at 7am for breakfast at Guy Harvey's Island Grill. For more information on the Rotaract Club of Grand Cayman, visit their website at www.rotaractky.org on contact Dorothy on 925 7323.
